The number of Foreigners residing in Kameoka continues to increase every year. These residents come from many different home countries/regions, have varying lengths of stay and visa statuses. "Kameoka Foreign Resident Support" aims to support these residents with consultations, and help work towards a solution for any troubles that they may be facing.
亀岡市の外国人は増えています。出身、在留資格、日本にいる期間はいろいろです。「かめおか多文化共生センター」は困っている外国人を支援します。

About the Center センターについて
Consultations(In-Person・By Phone・by Email)／生活相談（窓口・電話・メール）
Councilors will gladly listen to any lifestyle troubles that you may have, provide helpful information and/or introduce you to an organization that may be more suited to help.
Examples of Consultation: City Hall paperwork, Visa help, School enrollment/education, etc
Consultations are FREE.
Consultations are available in the following languages:
In-Person Consultations: English, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Portugese, Vietnamese, Filipino, Thai, French, Nepalese, Hindi, Russian, Indonesian, Cambodian

相談員が生活の困りごとを聞いて、情報を教えたり関係機関（市役所など）を紹介したりします。例えば、市役所の手続き、在留資格、子どもの学校などの相談ができます。
相談は 無料です。

Language Supporter Registration/Introduction／「言語サポーター」の登録・紹介
Kameoka Foreign Resident Support introduces "Language Supporters". These supporters are individuals that are able to do translations, interpretations, and help children at schools with Japanese and studying. Kameoka Foreign Resident Support is currently looking to register people as a "Language Supporter" and will provide all training necessary.
センターでは「言語サポーター」を紹介します。 「言語サポーター」は通訳と翻訳をするひと、学校で子どもに日本語や勉強を教えるひとです。また、サポーターの登録やトレーニングもします。
Providing Information／生活情報
Kameoka Foreign Resident Support provides important lifestyle information including proper garbage disposal methods, information relating to natural disasters and disaster prevention.
生活に必要な情報（ゴミの出し方など）や、防災・災害の情報を紹介します。
Training and Events／研修会やイベントの開催
Kameoka Foreign Resident Support holds training courses such as Japanese Instructor training, as well as promoting organizations involved in multicultural activities.

Holidays: Days when Galleria Kameoka is closed (4th Thursday of the month, New Years)
