Leaking or Broken Pipes 水漏れ・故障（水道管に　問題があるとき）

Responsibility for Repairs Depends on Whether the Leak is Inside or Outside the Home　水漏れや故障はどこにあるかによって管理する者が変わります。

• When the leak occurs between the meter and the street (away from the home), the city water board is responsible for repairs.
• When the leak occurs within the home (between the meter and the home), the homeowner (you) are responsible for repairs.
• メーターより道の方（道路側）、またはメーターボックスの中で水が漏れるとき市の上下水道部が管理します。
• メーターより家の方（屋内側・家側）で水が漏れるとき、本人（あなた）が管理します。

If There is a Leak Within the Home　メーターより家の方で水が漏れる場合

You can check for leaks within piping in your home by turning off all the water sources and checking the meter. If the pilot of the meter is still moving with all the water sources turned off, then there is a leak. You are responsible for repairing leaks that occur between the meter box and the home. You must use one of the approved repair companies listed on this webpage (Japanese only). They are listed by neighborhood. Choose one of the companies nearest you to request repairs.

水道メーターを見て水が漏れているかどうかを調べることができます。蛇口を全部締めて、水を使っていないときにもメーターのパイロットが動いていたら、家（屋内側・家側）で水が漏れています。その場合、修理ができる店が決まっています。このページに頼んでもいい地域別の店のリストがあります。自分の地域に近い店の一つに連絡して、修理を頼んでください。

If There Is a Leak Outside of the Home　メーターより道の方で水が漏れる場合

If the leak is occuring outside of the home (between the meter box and the street), please contact the Kameoka City Water Board (0771-23-9311).

メーターより道の方（道路側）または、メーターボックスの中で水が漏れるとき、上下水道部（0771-23-9311）まで連絡してください。
