Children's Allowance 児童手当　（子どもがいる人へのお金の支援）

The Children's Allowance is a program designed to provide financial support to families raising children until graduating from High School. The Children's Allowance scheme was adjusted in October 2024.

家族の支援として高校卒業までの子どもを育ている人は児童手当がもらえます。令和6年10月から児童手当制度が一部変更されました。

Children Allowance scheme adjustments

• The length of the Children Allowance scheme was extended until graduating from High School
• Removal of income limits
• Financial support increases after the third child 
• Frequency of payments increased to 6 times a year
• Financial support is paid in every even month of the year

Monthly Allowance

• Under 3 years old
  • First and second child: 15.000 yen
  • Third child and above: 30.000 yen
• From 3 years old until high school graduation​
  • First and second child: 10.000 yen
  • Third child and above: 30.000 yen

• 高校卒業までもらえるようになりました
• 給料は関係がありません
• 3人目の子どもからもらえるお金が増えます
• お金は1年に6回もらえます（2月、4月、6月、8月、10月、12月）

1ヶ月にもらえるお金

• 3歳未満
  • 1人目と2人目の子ども: 15.000円
  • 3人目以上の子ども: 30.000円
• 3歳から高校卒業まで​
  • 人目と2人目の子ども: 10.000円
  • 3人目以上の子ども: 30.000円
