If You Become Pregnant 　妊娠したら　（赤ちゃんができたとき）

If you become pregnant, you should visit the Parental Support Section （子育て支援課　kosodate shien ka) located inside the Health Center (保健センター　hoken sentaa) and file a Notification of Pregnancy. You need to bring the Certificate of Pregnancy (妊娠届出書　ninshin todokedesho) that you receive from your doctor after your pregnance is confirmed.

When you turn in the Notification of Pregnancy, you will recieve the following:

• Mother and Child's Health Recordbook(母子健康手帳　boshi kenkō techō)
  This is an important recordbook that will track the health of both the mother and child during pregnancy. Please bring it with you to any health check-ups, consultations, or vaccination appointments and fill in details on your own as well.
• Pregnancy Health Check-up Coupons(妊婦健康診査受診券　ninpu kenkō shinsa jushin ken)
  These coupons will help ease the cost of pregnancy health check-ups. It is important to get regular check-ups during your pregnancy.
• Pregnancy Dental Check-up Coupons(妊婦歯科検診受診券　ninpu shika shinsa jushin ken)
  Women are more likely to develop cavities during pregnancy, which can have an effect on the fetus. If you bring these coupons to a dental clinic within Kameoka, you can get a dental check-up for 500 yen.

妊娠が分かったら早めに保健センターの子育て支援課で届出を出してください。病院などからもらった「妊娠届出書」を持って手つづきをしてください。手つづきをすると次のものをもらいます。

• 母子健康手帳（ぼしけんこうてちょう）
  この手帳を使ってお母さんと赤ちゃんの健康を記録します。健康診断・相談・予防接種を受けるときは必ず持ってください。お母さんやお父さんも情報を書いてください。
• 妊婦健康診査受診券（にんぷけんこうしんさじゅしんけん）
  妊娠している間は定期的に健康診査を受けてください。この券は医療費の支援になります。
• 妊婦歯科健診受診券（にんぷしかけんしんじゅしんけん）
  妊娠のとき、むし歯などにかかりやすく、おなかの赤ちゃんにも影響があります。この券を市内の歯科医院で使って、500円で検診を受けることができます。
