Enrolling in Elementary School 小学校に入るとき
At the end of January, families with children of elementary school age registered as living in Kameoka will receive a Notice of Enrollment Date and School Designation (入学期日および学校指定通知書 nyūgaku kijitsu oyobi gakkō shitei tsūchisho) by mail. This form will indicate the date of enrollment and at which school your child will be enrolled.
Also, between October to November of the year before your child enrolls in elementary school, the city holds student health checks (就学時健康診断 shūgakuji kenkō shindan). You will receive a notice in the mail. Please make sure your child undergoes a health check-up before enrollment.
If you move to Kameoka or move within Kameoka after October 1, please contact the School Affairs Section (学校教育課 gakkō kyōiku ka) on the 4th floor of Kameoka City Hall.Tel：0771-25-5053
亀岡市に住所がある子どもが小学校に入る年の1月末までに市役所から「入学期日および学校指定通知書」が家に届きます。これには子どもが学校に入る日とどの学校に行くかが書かれています。
また、学校に入る前の年の10月～11月のころに小学生になる子どものための健康診断を行います。「就学時健康診断」と言います。家に通知が届きます。必ず健康診断を受けてください。
10月1日以降に亀岡市に引っ越してきた場合または亀岡市内で引っ越しをした場合は市役所4階の学校教育課に連絡してください。Tel：0771-25-5053

At the end of January, families with children of junior high school age registered as living in Kameoka will receive a Notice of Enrollment Date and School Designation (入学期日および学校指定通知書 nyūgaku kijitsu oyobi gakkō shitei tsūchisho) by mail. This form will indicate the date of enrollment and at which school your child will be enrolled.
If you move to Kameoka or within Kameoka after the end of January, or if you are enrolling your child into a private junior high school, please contact the School Affairs Section (学校教育課 gakkō kyōiku ka) on the 4th floor of Kameoka City Hall.Tel：0771-25-5053
