Health Check-ups 健康診断 （体の 健康状態を 調べる）
Eligibility 対象
Various clinics in Kameoka offer health check-ups for adults. These are called「健診」or「検診」 （kenshin). It is important to get health check-ups regularly to catch any possible problems early. People who meet each of the following criteria can get a health check-up as described on this page.
- People who have a Certificate of Residence (住民票 jūminhyō) registered in Kameoka.
- People who do not have the opportunity to get a health check-up from another provider such as through their workplace or family insurance.
病気を早く見つけるため、亀岡市のいろいろな医院が健康診断を行います。「成人健（検）診」と言います。次の人が下に書いてあるようにいろいろな健診や検診を受けることができます。
- 亀岡市に「住民票」がある人
- 職場の健診や家族健診など、同じような健診を受ける機会がない人
※Health check-ups are only available once a year.
※受診は1年に1回です。
Important Note :
Your age is calculated based on the end/start (Last day of March / Apr 1st) of the fiscal year.
If your birthday falls on either one of the above dates, please confirm ahead of time whether you fall under the eligible age range.
注意事項：
年齢は年度初め・末 （3月の最終日・4月1日）に基づいて数えられます。
お誕生日はどれの日にある場合、自分がその年に対象年齢のわくに入っているかどうか確認してください。

Breast Cancer Screening 乳房がん （にゅうぼうがん）の検診
Breast cancer screenings are available to women once every two years. Eligibility is determined by birth year.
乳房がんの検診は2年に1回受けることができます。対象になる女性は生まれた年で決めます。

Stomach, Lung, and Intestinal Cancer Screening 胃がん（いがん）・肺がん（はいがん）・大腸がん（だいちょうがん）の検診
※You need to make an appointment for a stomach and intestinal cancer screening. Please contact the Health Center (Tel:0771-25-5004).
※When getting a lung cancer screening, a tuberculosis screening will also be conducted at the same time (cost: 600yen).
※胃検診と大腸がんの検診は予約が必要です。保健センターに連絡してください (Tel:0771-25-5004)。
※肺がんの検診を受けるとき、結核の検診も受けます。費用は600円。

Free Screenings 無料で健診や検診を受けることができる人
(1)Residents over 70 years of age
- Persons in group (1) do not need to fill in an application.
(2)Residents in a household receiving home care assistance (生活保護 seikatsu hogo)
(3)Residents exempt from paying residency taxes
- Person in groups (2) and/or (3) need to apply. Bring a form of ID (driver's license, health insurance card) to the Health Promotion Section (健康増進課 kenkō zōshin ka) before the date of your screening appointment.
(4)Residents eligible for finanical aid coupons (無料クーポン muryō kūpon)
- Persons in group (4) need to bring their financial aid coupons and driver's license or health insurance card (as proof of name and address) to the Health Center.

(1)70歳以上の人
- (1)の人は申し込みをする必要はありません。
(2)生活保護を受けている世帯にいる人
(3)市民税非課税世帯 （市民税を払わなくてもいいと認めている世帯）にいる人
- (2)・(3)の人は、申し込みが必要です。検診を受ける日までに本人確認ができるもの（運転免許証・健康保険証など）を健康増進課に持っていってください。
(4)無料クーポンを受けている人
- 無料クーポンと名前と住所が分かるもの（運転免許証や保険証など）を検診に持っていってください。
